Maaref Education branches in the Eastern Province have achieved a notable cultural milestone, with 65 students qualifying for the advanced stages of the national reading competition “Iqra,” organized by King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) across the Arab world.

This achievement reflects the strong cultural awareness and advanced language skills of students from Maaref schools (Al Manarat, Al Faisaliah, and Noor Al Islam), who successfully passed initial evaluations and interviews focusing on reading depth, critical thinking, and presentation skills.

The Eastern Province management highlighted that this success demonstrates the effectiveness of Maaref’s strategy in promoting a reading culture and developing well-rounded, knowledgeable students.

“Iqra” is one of the leading cultural initiatives in the Arab world, aiming to foster a love of reading and enhance research, summarization, and critical analysis skills.
