High School
GHIS’s high school offers the American curriculum which offers over 13 courses at the high school level; the SAT program which offers 5 courses (English, Math, chemistry, physics, and Biology); AP Math (Precalculus); the full GAT (General Aptitude Test) Program which offers 2 courses including Lafdhy & Kammi; and G12 SAAT (courses including (Math, English and sciences).
Both the American Diploma Program and the GAT/SAAT programs are academically challenging courses of study and receive the “most demanding” classification from university admissions departments.
Subjects offered at the high school level are English, math, science, social studies, physical education & health, fine arts, technology, Economics, and electives: world History & Geography.  Each student must be enrolled in 12 semester classes and have a minimum total credit of 36.0 (recommended 28.5) to graduate from GHIS.
A required course to be taken by all students is Arabic Culture (Four years course). This course fulfills the Saudi Ministry of Education requirement to provide conversational Arabic and designated cultural topics that promote a cultural awareness of the host country.
