Our Academic Program

At GHIS, we offer a well-rounded American curriculum designed to foster academic excellence, personal growth, and global citizenship from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Our program is carefully structured to meet the developmental needs of students at each stage, integrating core subjects with enrichment opportunities in a dynamic, student-centered learning environment.

Kindergarten (KG)

Our Kindergarten program lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning through a play-based, inquiry-driven approach. Students develop essential literacy and numeracy skills while building confidence, curiosity, and social-emotional awareness. Activities are designed to spark imagination and foster independence in a nurturing and engaging setting.

Elementary School (Grades 1–5)

In Elementary School, students build strong academic skills in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, guided by U.S. educational standards. A focus on creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving is integrated throughout, supported by specialist instruction in Art, Music, Physical Education, and Technology. We prioritize the development of both academic competence and character.

Middle School (Grades 6–8)

Our Middle School curriculum supports students through a critical period of transition. Core academic subjects are deepened with a greater emphasis on analytical thinking, communication, and personal responsibility. Electives and extracurricular opportunities encourage students to explore interests, develop leadership, and gain confidence as independent learners in a supportive environment.

High School (Grades 9–12)

The High School program prepares students for university and life beyond with a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum aligned with American standards. We offer a wide range of academic courses, including Advanced Placement (AP) options, alongside counseling and career guidance. Students are encouraged to engage in service learning, leadership roles, and extracurricular activities that develop well-rounded, globally minded individuals.
