After School Sports Clubs
Maarif Sports Club are excited to offer an after-school sports club suitable for students of all ages & abilities. After school clubs offer students the opportunity to enjoy multiple sports in a fun and engaging environment.
The monthly membership program will provide access to unlimited sports at your school!
The sports activities are delivered by our PE staff and take place within the school sports facilities at the end of the school day. This allows parents to arrange a later pick up on the days when their child is participating in activities at the end of the school day.
There will be a range of activities available to ensure children have fun in an engaging and safe environment. All updates will be added to the school website so do check back here for details.

When you complete the registration, you will receive details on how to pay via bank transfer.
STEP 3
When the payment has been made, send the copy of the receipt to:

Once your payment has been received, you will be added to the register and the Sports’ Coordinator will contact you with further details.

The programme for Term 3 will start from Sunday April 21st, 2024, and end on Thursday May 30th, 2024 (6 weeks).

Stay After School & Play Your Favourite Sport! - After School Sports Club
WHAT?
An opportunity for students to stay at school for 1 hour and participate in a range of healthy and enjoyable sports activities. Exclusive for Maarif Students!
WHERE?
MANARAT KHOBAR SCHOOL
Boys' Program take place in the Boys' sports Facilities.
WHO?
After school clubs are designed for students practice sports and stay active while enjoying various sports activities.
The club is led by PE teachers from the school however we will sometimes bring specialised coaches for activities such as swimming or martial arts.
[For students interested in pursuing a specific sport at a higher level, we will be launching sports academies at the school which will be available from 4pm onwards on weekdays and during weekends – the sports academy details will be posted on the school website and communicated to parents as they become available].
WHEN?
Weekday programs start directly after school – the sports coordinator will confirm the pick-up time and location after the activities.
Students stay at school at the end of the day and participate in the activities of their choice (pre-registration required).
The duration of the sessions each day are approx. 1 hour.
WHAT DO STUDENTS NEED TO BRING?
Students need to wear comfortable clothing and shoes for playing sports.
They should also bring a refillable water bottle.
We also recommend wearing a cap to protect them from the sun during outdoor activities.
HOW WILL MY CHILD GET TO THE ACTIVITIES?
At school dismissal time (which varies per school section) students can go directly to the sports hall within the school to meet the teachers/coaches. [Students in Grades 1-3 will be collected from their class and escorted to the sports facilities].
TRANSPORT
Please note that school buses are not available for the after-school clubs.
Please arrange collection of students at the end of the sessions each day.
How can I choose the activities for my child?
You will be contacted by the Sports’ Coordinator from your school after you have registered who will update you about the activities schedule and other important information
Terms & Conditions
By registering my child in this program, I understand that I have full responsibility for the health of my child/children.
I consent to allow contact should any first aid be required during the session.
There are limited spaces available in each class to ensure safety and quality. Maarif Sports Club reserves the right to make any changes to the program for reasons beyond our control.
I understand that photographs or videos may sometimes be taken during the activity, and I hereby consent to allow such material to be used on our marketing material including the school website and school social media sites (not applicable to female students).
Classes should be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours prior to the start to ensure acceptance. [A minimum of 6 students is required for each activity].
Cancellations received within 24 hours of the start of each class will result in the loss of the session. Memberships cannot be refunded.
