Saudi Milk Visit

Manarat Khobar International School was visited by representatives of Saudi Milk Company

The company brought doctors and assistants and organized a lecture about the benefits of young children drinking milk and dairy products. The lecture focused on healthy foods and milk and emphasized on the importance of eating 3-5 servings of dairy every day for young, growing bodies. The doctors explained what calcium is and how it affects their bodies through PowerPoint presentations and other visuals. Students were able to ask questions, and assistants passed out circulars and milk boxes for students to take home.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learning about the benefits of milk and healthy food as expressed by their feedback given to class teachers following the presentation.
