The Arabic language Day was celebrated with great fervor at MSISG.
The celebrations mark the day the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted Arabic as the sixth official language of the organization.
A range of activities were organized on the occasions. While colorful posters lined the venue, students made interesting ppt presentations on the history of the language and its immense contribution to philosophy and the arts. Special emphasis was given to Arabic calligraphy.
A short play was also staged by the students, followed by a quiz on the information imparted during the program.
Small medals were awarded to participants.
